Peter Koos studied art at Parsons School of Design and The School of Visual Arts in New York where he graduated with a degree in book design. His career has been in varied branches of the art world. He works as an illustrator, set design/window display artist, model/diorama builder for print ads and video and architectural model maker. His independent interests include art history, architecture and Egyptology.
His work has appeared in: the windows of Tiffany and Company, New York on three occassions (1988, 1990 and 1992), The Smithsonian Institution Craft Show in DC (1992), Suffolk County College Art Gallery (1990), Stony Brook University Art Gallery (1994), as well as many private art galleries and other venues.
His work has been reviewed in: AIA Occulus Review, Architectural Digest “AD at Large”, Architectural Digest April 2002 issue, The Washington Post and Miniature Collector Magazine.
